Virgil Goode Endorses Mark Peake in 22nd District Senate Race
Lynchburg, VA – The Peake for State Senate campaign is honored to announce the endorsement of former Representative Virgil Goode (VA-05).
“I am proud to endorse Mark Peake in his race for the 22nd senate district seat. I have known Mark for nearly twenty years, and can attest to his strong work ethic and commitment to our shared conservative principles. I know he will work hard for his constituents and represent them well. I urge all my friends to support Mark.”
Mark Peake commented on Mr. Goode’s endorsement, “To have the endorsement of such a stalwart in the conservative movement is truly an honor. I look forward to taking up Tom Garrett’s mantle and serving my friends and neighbors in Richmond. ”
Virgil Goode, a lifelong constitutional conservative, represented Virginia’s fifth congressional district from 1997-2009. Most recently he served as the Fifth District Chairman for the Donald Trump presidential campaign.
Mark Peake resides in Lynchburg with his wife of twenty-one years, Lila, and their five children. A 1988 graduate of Washington and Lee Law School, Mark has practiced law in Lynchburg for nearly thirty years. Mark has consistently been involved in his local community, serving with numerous organizations including: Commonwealth Transportation Board, Lynchburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, Lynchburg Bar Association, Board of Directors of Lynchburg Youth & Prevention Services, and Lynchburg Republican Committee.
